Airport Zurich to Train Station Zurich
The train counter is truly easy to locate, just follow the signs. You will not get lost – Zurich is a small airport in comparison, the signage is first rate. You do not have to step outside the terminal; you can proceed from customs directly to the train station as the buildings are connected and the train is departing underground. From customs it is not even a five minute walk by foot. At the counter, which is just next to the rails, you can pay in foreign currency (i.e. dollars) or with a credit card and staff will certainly speak English.
Once an hour a train travels up to Davos, you have to change trains at Zurich main station, to take the train that takes you to Landquart. There you have to change once more, but in principle you should not have to worry about the connection since trains are usually on schedule and wait in the connections. From then on, you trip will be direct to Davos, and you will be able to enjoy some nice views, because from there the train will take you high and higher up the mountains.
