Visa Information
For stays shorter than 3 months, the citiziens of the following countries only need to bring a valid passport with them: Countries of the American Continent (except Belize, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Colombia and Peru), Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
Citizens from countries not mentioned above need a visa to enter Switzerland. You can find the visa applications form and instruction here. Participants requiring a visa should apply as soon as possible. Please note that the visa application procedure can take a long time.
Invitation Letters
EurAAP, the official organizer of the EuCAP2016 conference, is pleased to send a letter of invitation to any conference delegate, speaker, exhibitor or visitor requesting it. The request for the invitation letter should be send by e-mail to visa@eucap2016.org, indicating the following information:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Place of birth
- Affiliation
- Full address
- Passport number
- Registration number
- Paper ID (if available)
Invitation letters will be sent digitally by e-mail from visa@eucap2016.org. In case you would like to receive the original, it will be send by normal post.
Please be advised that invitation letters will only be provided based on the completion of your registration and when full payment for the registration fee is submitted
